LikedThe hotel is beautiful. Our room and amenities at the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated close to the downtown core and many shopping areas.
DislikedNot much to write here because we really enjoyed our stay. However, perhaps they could look to offer a breakfast package with the rooms. Currently you need to order a la carte from the restaurant.
LikedBreakfast at 1Kitchen is fantastic. Good coffee, quality healthy choices, pleasant atmosphere. Staff is kind, courteous and helpful -- shout-out to Lifa in particular! Rooms are clean and modern with a Zen vibe, a breath of fresh air and tranquility. The gym is spacious and well aired-out with good equipment, not the standard broken down machines found in other hotels.
DislikedNo complaints whatsoever.
LikedOutstanding front desk staff! Loved the repurposed wood and ecological standards.
LikedLocation, close to starbucks, the gym, and the live music in the lounge
Dislikedprice
LikedWhat a fabulously unique hotel where we enjoyed a wonderfully welcoming stay. The staff were engaging without being intrusive and the atmosphere invited relaxation from the moment we walked through their doors.
DislikedThe only thing we found odd was at the rooftop restaurant Harriett’s. Their glassware was plastic. I understand that being poolside there is a need for plastic glassware but inside the restaurant, especially at dinner, being served champagne in a plastic flute was underwhelming. Perhaps they can differentiate between the two locations moving forward.
LikedShamar at the Front Desk was awesome and their in house massage therapist. The whole hotel is gorgeous is perfectly located. You can be at the airport via train in 20 minutes. I will stay again!
LikedI appreciate they are dedicated to sustainable practice in many ways that include filtered water that allowed us to refill water, no plastic or one-time disposal products in the hotel, greenery blended into the indoor space, and really pretty interior design.
DislikedThe bottle of champagne (Veuve Clicquot) we ordered at the rooftop pool is overpriced too much which was double the price.
LikedLocation is very central, has loads of coffeeshops, restaurants close by and is a very cozy hotel. Staff were extremely helpful, specially Robin and Joey. The breakfast choices were great and the lobby bar is very nice. Room was beautiful and bed was super comfortable!
DislikedInitially got a room which did not have a good A/C and was quite noisy - however I was quickly given an alternative room, so this is not really a complaint!
