Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund

Liked“Excellent location on the Bund, beautiful views, elegant rooms, and very attentive and professional staff. The overall service and atmosphere were exceptional.

Disliked“Nothing significant. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable and met my expectations

LikedThe Long Bar was fantastic. Great entertainment provided.

DislikedBuy oysters on their own without the champagne package.

LikedSpacious and comfortable room, good location and nice staff.

DislikedThe building is a little far back from the bund, so the bund view is somewhat ruined by the not so pretty roof top view right below your eyes.

LikedThe breakfast was good, but the quality of the food seems to have declined in the last couple years.

DislikedThe hotel is older, the wiring and the switches have problems here and there. Also the appliances in the rooms are not checked daily. Such as our coffee maker does not work.

LikedExcellent location, service and facility. Concierge and staff very professional and helpful.

LikedThe long bar is excellent with impeccable service. The Breakfast buffet has a great variety from Asian to western food and a nice patio as well. The majority of the stuff speak very good English and are eager to make the guest feel at home

LikedHuge rooms and bathrooms, excellent location and the breakfast buffet was phenomenal. Would definitely stay here again when I am in Shanghai.

DislikedThe pillows are on the harder side, even when ordering the pillow selection was also on the harder end, no soft pillows.

LikedThe location is perfect , and the staff is super supportive

DislikedAll was great
