LikedI had a wonderful stay at Brach Paris. The hotel feels genuinely special: the design is full of small, thoughtful details, the room is beautiful without feeling overly formal, and the wellness area is probably the strongest part of the experience. I used the pool, jacuzzi, hammam and salt room both during my stay and again after check-out, which made a one-night stay feel surprisingly generous. The service was warm and attentive. I had a half-marathon on the morning of check-out, and although a late check-out wasn’t possible, the team immediately offered me the possibility to shower afterwards and allowed me to use the spa for as long as I wanted. Small touches such as the LED mask experience, the tote bag and the cookies at departure also made the stay feel personal and memorable. Overall, Brach managed to make one night feel like a real experience rather than simply a hotel stay. I left relaxed, very happy, and with the feeling that it was absolutely worth treating myself to it.

DislikedThe only thing that felt slightly out of place at this level was the lack of complimentary bottled water in the room — the bottles provided cost €8, which feels unnecessary in a hotel of this category, especially when the overall experience is otherwise so generous.

DislikedThe amenities are not in the room (kettle, toothpaste, shaving kit etc). The concierge will bring them to you if you ask for something specific but for a 5 star hotel i don’t expect to ring for a kettle which in my view is quite basic. The tv is not a smart tv The swimming pool and gym i think are open to outside members as well so it’s not so exclusive. The rooftop bar is also closed as it’s winter (they clearly state this everywhere) but i think at this price tag part of it could be open year around with home heaters. Also if you are a smoker, you are supposed to smoke in front of the hotel. There’s no terrace open during the winter apparently.
