Le Couvent des Minimes, un Hôtel & Spa L'Occitane en Provence

LikedThis is, hands down, one of the few places I'd be happy to return to. Everything radiates style and elegance—from the moment you walk through the doors, through the main building and pool area, all the way to the room. The spa is in a league of its own: the variety of facilities, the aesthetics, and most importantly, the sense of privacy. Even at full capacity, it feels spacious, and no one is stepping on your toes. Lastly, the breakfast is phenomenal. Such a great way to start your day—every single day :) The only thing to keep in mind is the location, unless you don’t mind driving. It’s about 45 minutes from Valensole to the east and about an hour from the Luberon to the west. We didn’t mind at all, but it is what it is.

LikedAn amazingly beautiful hotel from A to Z. Everywhere you go on the property, you can see the care and thought that has been given to every detail. From the stunning architecture to the meticulous landscaping, from the food and drinks to the furniture and service, everything is of the highest standard imaginable. The spa in the complex is the most beautiful and largest I have ever seen, including endless options of pools, saunas, relaxation areas and more. The complex is large and very spacious, but there are only 49 rooms, which ensures constant peace and quiet. The food in the various restaurants is also excellent, and the hotel does everything in its power to adapt the food to the customer's requirements, including preparing dishes that are not on the menu as much as possible. Highly recommend!

DislikedThe bathroom and shower in our room had transparent windows facing the bedroom, and no way to hide it with a curtain. As a couple, this is not a big deal, of course, but if you are coming with another family member and sleeping in the same room, it could be awkward.

LikedWe loved our stay here. The breakfast was excellent! As a vegan they had plenty of options for me. The location was beautiful. There was a great parking lot for those who are driving. The spa is phenomenal! There were so many rooms and it was very spacious so it never felt overcrowded. The inside of the hotel is beyond beautiful, modern, but still has its charm of an old convent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

DislikedI would have loved to have a better view from our room. We couldn't see much from the porch.

LikedThis Relais & Chateaux property is magnificent! The lobby of the hotel occupies the former chapel at the convent and the space is stunning. Our rooms were incredible. The hotel has recently been renovated and it is spectacular. Breakfast was included in the rate I had booked and it was wonderful. Hotel has a L’Occitane Spa which was amazing. I cannot use enough adjectives to describe this phenomenal establishment. WE WILL BE BACK!
