“Absolutely stay here if you are looking for a luxurious vacation.”
LikedWow! What a beautiful place. Everything was top of the line. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow suite that overlooked the water. Nice sized room with a sitting area. The property is very spread out, but all you have to do was call the reception and a golf cart would come take you anywhere you wanted to go on the property. There is the main beach and then a smaller more private beach on the property that were well equipped with sunbeds/umbrellas. The breakfast was amazing - buffet with everything imaginable. It is a bit of a walk into town, and you wouldn’t want to do it in the dark, so best to have a car, but it is easy enough to use a taxi.

LikedEverything. Locations, beach, food, rooms. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. This establishment goes above and beyond to ensure guests are relaxed, enjoying themselves and well taken care of. Room interior is very accommodating and spacious. Scenery of the bay is gorgeous. We also took a boat trip by the operator at the hotel, which was absolutely charming and fun.

LikedThe staff were exceptional. The room was very spacious with plenty of wardrobe space. Beach and sea, beautiful.
DislikedThe pool area was a bit too quiet with no restaurant by it except the pool bar. The surrounding pool area was a bit scruffy. It Felt very isolated. Restaurants in the hotel quite expensive too.

LikedThe super friendly staff especially at check-in. The breakfasts were delicious and with a huge range of yummy food. The large plot with tennis, volleyball and lots of facilities all complimentary. Everything is clean, well maintained and beautiful. The wonderful sea views.
DislikedThe lack of a proper shower in the bungalow. The strange rules around sun bed allocation, meaning you never get a sea front bed, even if you’re there first. The rather grumpy tennis coaching staff - completely out of sync with the Elounda Beach culture.
LikedThe location was fabulous, sheltered sandy beach with water sports and close proximity to two local towns which both had an excellent choice of restaurants. The staff were all first class throughout the hotel and extremely polite. Our hotel room was perfect with the added benefit of shared pool which seemed private as the other two rooms adjoining us didn’t use. Would definitely return when next in Crete.
