LikedThe hotel is at the top of a hill with a breathtaking view of the lake over the infinity pool. There's a lot of local art that really makes the place magical. Maybe a silly detail: the hand soap provided in the bedrooms is the best smelling soap I have ever encountered in my life. I wish I could buy some for my house! The spa was also a great experience and fairly affordable.

DislikedThe hotel is a little far from the city of Udaipur itself so it takes a bit of driving to get there.

LikedLocation and Hotel both are perfect for international travelers. Rooms were clean and hotel staff was very helpful. Highly recommended this hotel to international travelers and families.

LikedI booked for my parents' 25th anniversary. The staff kept great care of them. The service and facilities are wonderful. The views are great. The staff was also very prompt and responsive I had a lot of small requests but they addressed everything patiently and replied timely. They also helped with providing my parents with cab drivers who showed my parents around the city. My parents were very happy when they got back. Definitely recommended for a great relaxing, beautiful, vacation!

LikedThe Indian food at the restaurant is very good; I would shy away from the other choices. And the bar is a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the scenery. The hotel is 20-30 minutes out of town, and hailing a cab or an Uber to get back to the hotel can be an ordeal. Best to arrange ahead of time for convenience. However, the hotel has wonderful views of the Aravalli Range and the surrounding countryside.

DislikedThe outdoor lighting at the restaurant could have been better. A bit dark.

Staff is very humble cooperative especially Miss Veena with welcome smile face, one of the best reception staff who explained us about property and also guided our City tour and also shared direct contact for our convenience. DislikedBreakfast was limited in choice and not very tasty the dinner in the restaurant was good but not exceptional the bar was largely unmanned and very drab and no trained bartender the place needs to brightened and spruced staff is actually very nice but need to be trained in hospitality etiquette reception was great the staff were very nice special mention Veena who deserves a big shout out for telling us so much about the property and the group Also more things to do by way of indoor and outdoor games could be good also put a telescope on the top it could be great also change the uniform colour of the staff These minor changes could make a huge difference and as you host lot of weddings it could also result in a great experience for your esteemed guests As for us we will keep coming back whenever we get a good deal love this property

LikedI travelled with family and already visited Fateh garh resort 12 Years ago. Its perfect stay to enjoy vibe of udaipur. Staff is true treasure of this place as they make stay very comfortable and go the extra mile to make the stay memorable. Veena Vyas leads a dedicated and competent team.

DislikedThe place is raw and open to nature. There are trip hazards and bees though we didnt face any difficulties.
