“very comfortable in a great location with lovely staff”

Likedlocation is excellent - we didn't have breakfast - decor is beautiful, staff very helpful and there s a great gym in the basement

Dislikedthe rooms - we had a superior one - are very tight and there is no wardrobe we had a quite a lot of luggage with us and the hotel did offer to store it but that was a too complicated so we were in a bit of a mess - it is really set up for business people or this there for a weekend - who don't have much with them.

“Comfortable, well located hotel, let down by some basic service problems.”

LikedWell located Attractive hotel with pretty and stylish bedrooms Friendly and helpful staff Food generally good

DislikedYou have to ask for basic amenities you’d expect to find in a hotel. They have a room safe, shower caps, refill of complementary water, more than two hangers between two of you for three days, except you have to ask for these things. They also want you to tell them every day that you want your room serviced. One morning we queued for 15 minutes with people checking in and out with one member of staff on the desk to tell them that we wanted our room serviced. Unacceptably long waits at both dinner and breakfast, about 40 minutes to be served at breakfast on the morning we had breakfast there and nothing is self service so you couldn’t even help yourself to a coffee. Similar wait time before starter arrived at dinner and between starter and main.
