LikedThe extremely friendly staff that wanted to fulfill your every wish. The bikes to get around the resort. Spa services.
DislikedThe rooms were far overpriced. Refurbishment is long overdue. There was no response to our wish to book a teetime in advance. Obliged gratuity in all restaurants and hotelbills.

LikedPool and breakfast were wonderful. Having a bicycle available was a real plus. Two criticisms……. The lighting in the room was not suitable for reading and the tap in the sink ran only hot water.

LikedIt is significantly more than a hotel, it is a very large resort, with a completely private beach, a very large swimming pool next to the beach (warning: that swimming pool is not heated, so it was quite cold in May), a Spa complex with a very nice and long indoor (heated) swimming pool, and several also very nice and large spa baths outside (these ones with warm water). The Spa reservation system ensures there are only a few guests at any time, no large crowd, and children aren't authorized in the Spa complex unless the weather is bad. The restaurants were excellent, I particularly recommend to have lunch next to the large outdoor pool, but the other two restaurants and the breakfast are excellent. Very nice room, loved the large private terrace. Everything was top notch. We had a small issue with our shower (rain shower stuck), and it was fixed very promptly. All the staff was super nice. We didn't play golf, but you can use one of the freely available bikes to cycle around the golf course, which is very nice (it is a private complex, so no external car).
