DislikedWater taxi’s are abundantly available from the airport to the property and arriving via the water is a must both logistically and as an experience. The hotel’s transfer option is over-complicated and unnecessarily expensive.

LikedBeautiful antique hotel. Lovely rooms with lots of paintings and art and antique furniture and fans. Beautiful gardens to eat in. Delicious breakfast. Very close to shopping and St. Marks square.

DislikedMaybe have some more outlets around the room…most of the outlets were being used by lamps and other room items. Maybe there were other outlets and we just couldn’t find them, but I had to unplug a lamp to charge my phone. Otherwise, the room was fabulous. Thank you!
“Perfect stay in Venice”
LikedLocation was perfect. I did shoppings around and then coming to the hotel to drop them. Same goes for the toilet and changing outfits, very central location. Also to/from airport, there is a vaporetto right in front of the hotel so that was awesome. They did upgrade my room thanks them for it ! And staff was really nice

LikedThis is the most exceptional hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Firstly, everything worked. And in Venice, even in a 5 star hotel, you can’t assume that to always be the case. The showers had heaps of pressure and heaps of hot water. The toilets flushed powerfully. The power points worked, as did the tv and air conditioning. The beds were so comfortable I slept through the night for the first time in years. I truly appreciated the love and attention that the owner lavishes on her property. It is immaculate. This is part art gallery, part home,part hotel. I “get” it and love it. Bravo Madame!
