“One of the top, if not the best hotel in Venice!”
LikedEverything about The Gritti Palace was superb. All of the staff were wonderful. The room was immaculate and cozy. Breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. Location was great and easy access by water taxi. We needed an emergency dentist and they set us up with an excellent Italian dentist. Will definitely stay here again.

LikedEverything about this property is excellent. The location couldn’t be better. Close to all the main attractions that we and the views were amazing but not right in the super touristy area of San Marco. Wonderful outdoor dining for all three meals of the day. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful for everything. They arranged a private tour for us in a glass studio in Murano. The room is a generous size for a European standard room and bathroom was beautiful too. The lobby and public areas are well appointed and the whole place feels very Venetian.

LikedAmazing breakfast options and absolutely gorgeous hotel interiors, including the rooms. Concierge was fantastic and the location and views incredible. The hotel is divine.
DislikedThe bartender was grouchy and not very friendly, and we were regulars in the bar. One night, when we were the last ones in the bar, he started banging cabinets so we would leave. I have never had that happen in a European 5 star hotel ever.
