DislikedThe Whale shark snorkel tour did not meet expectations. Very long boat ride and a very hectic cluster of boats chasing the whales sharks. Its advertised at 50/50 for seeing a shark and while we did for a brief second, the experience was underwhelming. The boat staff was great but for the money, pick a different excursion.

LikedEverything about Veligandu Resort was excellent!! The accommodations, food, beach, pool and especially the friendly staff made this an exceptional vacation!!

DislikedGet rid of the hookahs, don’t need that smell at a beautiful resort!!

LikedIt's second time we visit Veligandu and first time after renovation. Everything was great. The house reef is wondreful with many turtles, rays, lots of fishes. Dive center is great providing many options even for the beginners. We took dolphin cruise and it was great experience, Food at Dhonveli restaurant (buffet) is various and delicious with some special theme every evening. The whole island is calm and great for leisure. Surely will return here again!

LikedFood was excellent and had a wide variety of choices to accommodate various dietary preferences. The beach was pristine and well maintained at all times.

DislikedWould be important to give all guests more information about the importance of corals and how to behave in the reef. Sad to see destructive behavior (standing on corals etc) that destroys what makes this place so special.
