LikedStaff was wonderful. The birthday surprises were wonderful. I loved the room. Loved the offer of the photoshoot for my birthday. Gerardo with Iris Photography was THE BEST!!! Everyone was great!
DislikedThe ONLY issue was the Sargassum seaweed smell. I know there is not much you can do about that, but it was a total bummer. I also wish someone called us on our last day when we missed the shuttle to the airport, but it's okay :)
LikedThe property was clean, beautiful and the staff especially Carlos were great. I liked that there were five or six restaurants right on the property with a variety of different food.
DislikedUnfortunately, the beach was unusable due to the red seaweed that was washed up on the beach. I’m guessing it might be a time of the year thing, not sure, but they wouldn’t have a beach if it was like that all the time.
LikedThey know how to do adult only all inclusive. Clean rooms, and smiling friendly staff. Always looking to make your stay the best. Many daily activities and the food was good. Would definitely stay again. I had a junior swim out suite. I liked the adults only with no kids. The all inclusive meals and drinks were great.
DislikedCould use the beach just couldn't swim in ocean due to the seaweed plaguing Cancun area right now. Staff need to include solo travelers more. They always talking to the couples during meal times but not solo travelers. I did have one gentleman talk to me daily during lunch buffet. I'm content on my own but it would have been nice for staff to acknowledge single travelers like they did couples.
LikedThe staff was wonderful! Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.
DislikedThe seaweed on the beach was thick and smelly making it unusable. There was also construction on both sides of the hotel (not related to Haven so they have no control) but it was noisy at times.

LikedFacilities, activities, and food were all great. Staff here were great. Good was quite good, especially at the Mediterranean restaurant. We had the opportunity to do Tahani for one of the dinners and that was nice.
DislikedThey closed the buffet for dinner due to low occupancy and finding a place to eat on the first night was a challenge because no one let us know at check-in that we would need a reservation for a specialty restaurant.
LikedMe and my wife love this place it was our third time and every time gets better. The staff were excellent they take care of all your needs from pat our main guy that took care of us to Allen and colunga at the serenity pool were awesome plus all the staff that make the place rock. The restaurants are great the Asian fusion one is our favorite the steakhouse is great too we had the tomahawk steak twice. The activities were fun too. Also there spa is the best. Plus at night on the beach we saw sea turtles digging holes to lay there eggs that was the highlight of our trip. If your looking for a fun place with affordable rooms and not too far from airport come to haven you wont be disappointed.
