LikedLocation, staff was accommodating, breakfast was good
DislikedThe plugs were hard to access - hard to use with converters. Also felt that curtains that covered the walls were a fire hazard. Did not like the open bathroom wall design.
LikedEverything!! The staff, the room, the breakfast, the happy hour, the location, the free parking- all of the elements were just wonderful. This is one of those unique places that really make you feel like you are on a magical vacation.
LikedLoved the hotel itself—beautiful touches and great location. But the staff really made it shine. They have a happy hour every day where they bring people together and make you feel like a part of a family away from home. Everyone seemed happy, the rooms were great and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.
LikedSuper helpful staff upon arrival and the room was spectacular. Comfortable, clean, well equipped and stocked. We could not have asked for a better final nights stay to close out our wonderful trip to New Zealand.

LikedLocation and friendliness of staff. Early evening drinks amongst the guests was really good to meet and chat with others. Breakfast was great.

LikedGreat staff, comfortable rooms & fantastic breakfast! Their cooks, Milko, Marv and Mariel, were incredible. The Happy Hour every night was also delightful! And Diego, Jo, Cam & Lu made our stay very memorable. Even met the owner, Ken, who was super gracious!
LikedThe level of hospitality from the staff (not just front reception but from those in the kitchen as well) made the stay all the more worth it. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable - one of the best sleeps we have had in a while.
