“Nice hotel for a short stay”
LikedWe had a corner room on the 2nd floor. It was spacious and central and also quiet
Dislikeda minor inconvenience, but it would be nice to have the water in the room replenished daily, with the basement refill station available if you need additional water- rather than to have to go down there daily yourself
LikedBreakfast was quite good, but since we stayed several days, there was little variety.
“Cute Hotel in a Great Location!”
LikedIt was a beautiful hotel in a great location. I loved that it had an on site restaurant, the breakfast was so delicious! The front desk staff helped me print something when I needed it. They were also very friendly and easy to get ahold of.
DislikedThe balcony door in our bedroom was off the hinges, so it was unable to open.

LikedFantastic location in old town Funchal! Wonderful refreshing breakfast made to order, easily the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. They'll even pack you breakfast if you need to leave early for the day. Very nice bathroom and amenities. Close to everything you'd want to do in the old town.
DislikedParking sucks. The only option is to pay 20 euro each day to park in the underground garage of an affiliated hotel. That should really be included at this price range. Maybe inconvenient if you have a rental car, otherwise it's a good option!
