LikedThe hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Porto, with all the main attractions, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were exceptionally nice, kind and welcoming, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

LikedLocation, staff, and lobby was gorgeous. Room was a little dark- small windows that face an internal courtyard / overlook the pool, so not much of a view. The hotel was under construction while we were there (May 30, 2026) so a large portion of the hotel was inaccessible. Pool is very small - not for swimming, just for dipping. Breakfast was ok - more continental - cold cuts and cheeses, plus eggs and bacon but the breads were a bit stale and not much in the way of fresh fruit. Staff were WONDERFUL though.

LikedBeautiful lobby, spacious room, nice view, very good breakfast.
DislikedCoffee amenities not complete. No cream or sugar for the coffee. Very sparse minibar. Plastic flowers with cobwebs in the window boxes were depressing. Room more like 4 star than 5 star in that sense.

LikedGreat location. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. A very comfortable room and bed. And the onsite restaurant (Scarlet) was phenomenal too.
DislikedThere was a delightful cocktail shaker and beautifully glassware in the room, but, I didn't find alcohol and mixers in the minibar. But Scarlet downstairs made a terrific Negoni.
