LikedExceptional staff, everyone is very welcoming, friendly, and actively introducing themselves and asking how to help you.
DislikedThe Varandah breakfast area is a bit hot, and expose to rain, should have extendable awnings to cover the area in case of rain. Some ceiling fan will help too. The customers and especially staffs with their full coat is sweating profusely.
LikedBeautiful property, amazing staff and attention to detail. Also the location is perfect. Right on the river and there is also a free boat shuttle that takes you across the river to the SoIcon mall.

DislikedIt’s very small but still uses paper straws, who are we kidding with them. For many from USA and Europe plastic straws are a luxury in Thailand. Only mentioning since drinks, even a coke is more expensive than other places
LikedThe fact that they have a proper cigar room and jazz bar is enough to convince me to book again there. The hotel, room and facilities are exactly how you expect form a top notch 5 star hotel.

LikedWe got a stunning view of the river and The Siam from our rooms. Breakfast was simply gratifying and with many choices. What sets this hotel apart from the other 10+ hotels in Bangkok I have stayed in is their staff's helpfulness and attention to detail. There were some heavy weed scents along the alley outside our rooms on our first day. The staff quickly addressed it by setting up an air purifier to cleanse the air. If you are planning to get a good rest or just chilling out at the hotel, Mandarin Oriental is highly recommended.
