LikedConvenient to the Royal Mile, felt like a fortress of calm. Andrea,one of the concierges, was so wonderful and kind. They handed us a glass of champagne and whisked our bags to our room. The mini bar in the room was incredibly well stocked and included. Their breakfast was delicious as well.
LikedGreat location right across from the Waverley train station and close to both old town and new town. Very clean hotel. Great view from the rooftop bar. We got free mini bar and welcome Champaign. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again.
LikedThe location was superb. Within walking distance to the major sites in the city and literally across the street from the train station. The breakfast was top notch. There is a champagne lounge at the lobby with beautiful views of the city and very tasty small bites. The mattress was the perfect balance between supportive and soft. I slept well despite the jet lag. The complimentary minibar had locally made snacks and locally roasted coffee. It was very convenient. The bathroom was stylish and functional. The water pressure was terrific. I had a package delivered to me at the hotel before I arrived and it was waiting for me in the room on arrival. The staff was friendly and helpful.

LikedLocation was excellent. Hotel was very clean and well kept. The people working there were extremely friendly and very helpful. (And I did ask several questions during our stay, so when I say helpful, I mean it.) Every time I would stop by for information they would always check to see if everything was satisfactory.
DislikedRoom was a bit tight - but older city so that's to be expected.
