“Amazing find”

LikedBeautiful rooms, attentive staff. Cocktails created to tell the story of the ship. Honestly it's a great find and ten minutes by tram and your in Edinburgh given that price wise this is cheaper than some basic hotels it's a no brainer to pick this.

DislikedNothing. We were only there for one night but definitely will be back.

“Charming hotel with character”

LikedThis hotel is so charming and cozy. Staff were friendly. We loved the style of the rooms. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable of any of our stays in the UK on this trip. The hotel bar was excellent- we enjoyed sitting outside enjoying a cocktail on the bow of the boat on a nice evening. While the location in Leith is a bit further from some tourist attractions, the tram was super convenient for taking us into town and to the airport/train station. There are also a lot of great restaurants just steps from the hotel.

DislikedBecause it’s a ship, the windows are port holes and are small/don’t open. For this reason, our room was a bit musty but this is obviously not really something that can be changed. The breakfast was good when we got there early but was a bit picked over by 9:30. It would have been nice to have access to the fruit and oatmeal even at later times.

“Would stay there again.”

LikedBreakfast was continental with fresh fruit and lots of delicious baked goods. Served in a cozy lounge overlooking the river in Leith. Rooms were nautically themed and well-appointed.

LikedThis was a very unique and memorable place to stay. The rooms was fantastic and the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. Location was a 2 min walk to the bus or tram. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Edinburgh. It is not in city center but only a short tram ride away. Very peaceful and close to lots of attractions.

DislikedHonestly cannot think of anything we did not like.

LikedBeautifully furnished hotel/ship. Fun and unique

DislikedJust a fact - lots of stairs but totally worth it if you can navigate stairs

“Beautiful and unique stay, wish we had one more night!”

LikedThe overall commitment to the theme was beautifully done, tasteful without being tacky. The rooms were more spacious than we expected and so many beautiful details. The bar had great ambiance for a cocktail in the evening. The breakfast was great and super unexpected. The hospitality of all the employees was excellent! The bar and cafe options on the street were an unexpected plus.

DislikedThe only downside to this property was it is a bit further out from city center.
