LikedThe staff were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! So much effort and attention to detail is put into making this a wonderful hotel and restaurant. We visited for our anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a nicer place to stay :) The gardens were beautiful and the room and bathroom were perfect, this is absolutely worth it!

LikedLovely characterful property. A warm welcome from staff and the room was just what we needed. The dinner menu was delicious and we really enjoyed it.
DislikedThe only thing wrong was it was so hot. Uncomfortably warm in the restaurant but luckily we could control the temperature in our room.

LikedExcellent and charming hotel in the heart of Cumbria. We had a lovely room with a great comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Nice beautiful views of the well kept grounds. Breakfast and service was great.
