LikedVery clean room, great parking and help with luggage. Lovely products in the bathroom and really comfortable bed, bedding and great facilities.

DislikedIf I’m being really fussy, the bar toilet/ cloakroom could do with a refurb, felt much less high end.

LikedEverything is perfect. From the setting of hotel, facilities of our room and the smile of staff, they are totally more than my expectation.

LikedWe were upgraded without asking, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room had amazing views and the bed was super comfy. We ate in Gilpin Spice and the food and service was excellent.

LikedStayed in the Spa Suite. Excellent facility. Very comfortable room with in house spa. SPICE restaurant was really good!

DislikedThe pond was not full/filled up so the black plastic tarp was showing all around the edges. SOURCE restaurant was way below expectations. Food took way too long and we ended up skipping a course. The food at SPICE was way better.

LikedThis is a genuinely gem in the lake district. The grounds are very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurants are even better than advertised :-). the staff is very helpful and accommodating, providing a very personal and homey experience.
