“The feeling of a beautiful townhouse with excellent service and a convenient location.”

LikedThis is a Kit Kemp hotel which means fabulous decor and art throughout. Super comfortable bed! Many rooms are small however so I recommend going up at least one category. There is a lovely garden where breakfast and tea are served if weather permits. The staff is very good overall. There were a few issues in the breakfast room but nothing major. I love the area. It manages to be quiet and peaceful but convenient to an underground station, museums and many restaurants.

DislikedWell I waited 40 minutes for breakfast one morning. Service seemed disorganized there. Also rooms are small. My bathroom was tiny: one small sink and two steps down to get to it but it had all the amenities including a bathtub.

“Absolutely Delightful!”

LikedBeautifully decorated with incredible art. Every one of the staff were friendly & helpful!

DislikedThe only negative I can come up with is that there were 2 steep steps down to our bathroom with no lighting or handrail. Could be dangerous at night.

LikedThe quiet and charming neighborhood, the beautiful art at every turn in each room, so much beauty to take in. Loved the garden for outside dinning. The staff were very warm and welcoming and professional.

“Lovely small hotel with a garden”

LikedLovely smaller hotel that has great location, nice sheets and towels, beautiful decorated with a pretty garden, friendly staff and good made to order breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful at front desk.

DislikedAlthough we enjoyed and appreciated the friendliness and warmth of the dining staff and being able to get a hot breakfast, breakfast service was very slow and and sometimes disorganized, a few small tweaks could make it even better experience. Rooms are small, but that’s to be expected in London.

“Very attractive hotel in a great location.”

LikedThe furnishings and bed linens were both top quality. Very comfortable bed! Lots of closet space. There was no coffee/tea service in the room but the staff delivered tea supplies and kettle to my room.

DislikedI had a single occupancy room on the top floor. There is no direct elevator service and the stairs would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Very small bathroom.

“Wonderful little hotel that needs to rethink how the rooms are organized.”

LikedThe hotel is beautiful and very tastefully furnished. The staff is uniformly helpful and friendly and will do anything in their power to accommodate a reasonable request. The atmosphere is quiet and dignified. The breakfast was tasty and abundant. The double sink in the bathroom was a treat.

DislikedWe stayed for 5 nights, and we had to live out of our suitcases. There was woefully inadequate space for our clothes and other items. There were three half drawers, and two of them had items in them. The "closet" was organized very poorly, leading to not enough room to hang up coats, slacks, etc. Finally, the bath tub was dangerously slippery, and there was no rubber mat to mitigate this problem. It was so slippery that one day I decided to forego a needed shower rather than put myself at risk of falling.

“Cosy chic boutique hotel in London’s best location”

LikedGreat location, very comfortable rooms and common facilities, clean and beautiful cosy design throughout. Feels like an upscale bed and breakfast experience.

DislikedThe service was a little disappointing, didn’t fit with the warm chic vibe of this hotel. Staff at the restaurant is kind and welcoming.
