LikedAmazing staff, beautiful accommodations and grounds, great gym and spa onsite.
DislikedMaps were a bit confusing. Taking a walk or tour around property is encouraged so you can you learn your way around if you are staying for a few days. Many gated areas were not marked in map and it was not clear if access was permitted for guests .
LikedThe vastness of the acres of oak trees, beautiful pathways leading to multiple adventures and swimming pools. There’s the beach club that is extra special part. Food is terrific and vibes are very mellow and laid back.

LikedCalamigos Ranch Is a hidden gem located in the mountains of Malibu. The perfect place to enjoy a quick staycation getaway or do some local wine tasting. The restaurants and bars in the property are all wonderful

LikedReally enjoyed our stay here. The staff is impeccable and super kind and thoughtful. They went above and beyond on special touches, with some gifts in the room and they also gave some sweet gifts for my husband's birthday. The place is gorgeous and the interiors were designed impeccably. Loved the spa/gym facilities.
DislikedThey fell short in a few places but they always made up for it. The pool bar service was super slow on the first day but they offered free drinks and didn't charge for the lunch which definitely was appreciated. The room wasn't cleaned on the first day also, even after requesting the front of house staff it still wasn't done until I asked a second time which is pretty disappointing for a 5* hotel. But once again, I received a call after with an apology when I filled out their review form. This is really good initiative and rare to make up for every shortfall, so I still rate this place highly!
LikedIt was beautiful and calming Michael, our waiter, was top notch and we enjoyed our meal.
DislikedCafe was a bit pricey for what we actually got for a breakfast.
