LikedThis is an excellent 5 star resort hotel set in lovely vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula

“If you want an absolute treat, Jackalope is very hard to beat.”

LikedEverything about the hotel and the restaurant was generous. Our stay was a real treat with nothing too much trouble to make our experience as memorable as possible.

DislikedThe cutlery in the restaurant was aesthetically delightful, but useless. The handles of the knives and forks were too narrow to hold straight - a classic case of form defeating function.

LikedStaff were very friendly lots of fun extras, the room was amazing!

DislikedWe had dinner at Doot Doot Doot and it was a bit of a letdown, they are attempting to do fine dining, however I believe it would be so much better if they stuck to main meals. The breakfasrt and roomservice were 10/10!

“Everything we had heard was true, excellent setting, 5 star experience all round …. The staff were friendly, helpful,…”

LikedJust a beautiful, peaceful setting… the whole place was great…

LikedBeautiful hotel and grounds. Staff are fabulous and can't do enough for you. Lovely cocktail bar and having the cellar door in the grounds is great. I like how the hotel is for guests over age 12 only, makes it a tranquil retreat.

DislikedBreakfast was a slight disappointment. I'd have preferred to have the option of more pastries and yoghurt and skip the hot breakfast as it wasn't great on either day. Also the outdoor spa can get very busy and noisy which was unfortunate for us as our room was directly opposite it and the users could see and hear us if we opened our balcony door

“A double celebration and date night x2 midweek”

Likedstaff, food, bedroom and facilities such as spa and pool were great. Also the unlimited popcorn, and ice cream for dessert each night with a movie in your room. Loved the bed and the App called Jack. You write any request to Jack and someone is knocking on your door in few minutes.

DislikedThe foyer area upstairs can be noisy with people slamming doors at all hours of the night. This can wake up a lite sleeper but other than that we had a big room which we paid extra for but when you are there it is so worth it!!

“Jackalope sets the standard for true hospitality and attention to detail!”

LikedThis was hospitality and luxury at its finest! The 2 restaurants (one high end, one more casual) are the big draw cards, but Jackalope follows through with absolutely everything else you could ever want for a special experience on the Mornington Peninsula. The room decoration, comfortable bed, stunning pool, exceptional service and creative activities make it a place that will stay with you long after you leave, and make you wanting to come back for more. The included breakfast, which was one of the best I’ve had in any hotel, also makes it surprisingly good value!

DislikedThe activities were all fully booked when we got there. Be sure to book the activities in advance. It would be good if they could provide enough activities for all guests to experience at least one during their stay.
