LikedOne of the best small luxury hotels we have stayed anywhere in the world . Wonderful room , superb food in restaurant for breakfast and dinner, great pool and terrace . Terrace bar perfect for cocktails with a great view over the city . Service outstanding , particularly Sofia on reception who was so charming and helpful . Would very highly recommend the hotel. LikedWe absolutely loved our one night stay and will return next time we are in Rio. The hotel is in the amazing neighborhood of Santa Teresa, with lots of authentic restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel breakfast was the best of the trip, rooms are super comfortable and Sunset view from the pool bar is amazing.

LikedThis hotel is like a sanctuary, away from the crazy hustle and bustle of Rio. It's very beautiful, in a converted old coffee plantation. The staff were very helpful, they organised a terrific guide and driver for us which was a brilliant way to see the city's main sights. The restaurant's breakfast was exceptional. The pool bar was fantastic after a long hot day too. Santa Teresa is the best location to stay away from the iconic beaches. There's some great local bars and restaurants that are very close too,

DislikedHonestly the only thing I didn't like was the toilet issue .. having to place dirty toilet paper in a bin next the toilet is something I will never get used to! We accidentially blocked the toilet on the first night! But the staff fixed the issue very quickly and explained the protocol.

LikedThe interiors of the hotel were stunning, the room was spacious and the bedding was so comfortable.

LikedWhat a nice hotel! WOW! The hotel is very clean, and same for the room. The pool and gardens are very well maintained. I was there with my son for his first time in Rio, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was perfect. Everyone was so kind with us, always smiling and there to respond to our needs. Staff from the reception, at the restaurant, at the entrance, were all amazing!our dinner at Térèze was delicious. The hotel is perfectly located in Santa Teresa neighborhood, close to everything. Obrigado por todo! Eu volataria con certeza na proxima vez que estarei no Rio :) Martin

LikedThe ambience of the hotel was relaxing and luxurious, we especially liked the pool area

DislikedThe cocktail bar was unavailable due to refurbishment and there were quite a few external guests wandering around, probably viewing for possible functions; this rather distracted from the exclusivity of the hotel

DislikedThe sunbeds round the pool look cool but are uncomfortable. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable but these are minor things because I'd return in a heartbeat.
