Likedthe hotel was centrally located and very clean. Waitstaff was excellent, so friendly. Our room was spotless!
Dislikedwish some aspects of the spa were included, didn't realize there was a $100 + fee to use sauna etc

“Friendly & helpful staff! Cute & clean hotel!”
LikedVery friendly staff! Everyone is happy to help w/anything you need. Cute, quaint, and clean property w/comfortable bed, spacious room & nice hot shower. They are known for their Nordic spa, but we did not try it. They have a restaurant on site-we had breakfast & it was really good. Staff was great! We only stayed one night & it was very enjoyable!
DislikedLocation was not a walkable to town stay. You will need a car to get around.

LikedThe property was well located and had an upscale feel. If you enjoy spa amenities this would be a great choice. The restaurant was great. The fireplace was welcoming.
DislikedThe bed was too small. That is the only complaint.

LikedThe food at the restaurant was great! We ate many meals there. The prices were fair too! The service was fantastic.
DislikedThe only thing I noticed that I didn’t like was that there was very low light in the building. I think the idea was to make it relaxing but it felt more dark and sort of somber rather than relaxing. More light would be nice- in the rooms and the corridors.

“Hidden Gem”
LikedThe rooms were very spacious and updated. The price was great for the quality of the room. You have to drive a bit to get to other restaurants besides the one at the Canmore but it’s not that far. I like that they had a restaurant even though we didn’t eat there. Sometimes you are just too tired to go out, so it’s a nice option.
DislikedThere was only one elevator on, and then it broke. I don’t mind taking the stairs but it’s difficult with luggage. They have a big spa downstairs, and it seemed all of the traffic was people going to the spa. Only some rooms have spa access - we did not. I don’t know if that is a booking.com thing or not. Initially we were given a room that had clearly had a leak. It smelled like mildew. Fortunately we got there early enough and they let us switch. The staff are a little bit “Gen Z stare” unfriendly but overall this is a really great place and an excellent deal.
