LikedThe rooms was beautifully laid out. The bathroom was very clean with great facilities. There was free tea/coffee and kettle in the room. AC was provided in the rooms which is necessary given the humidity. The location was ideal in the old town, walking distance from most attractions. The staff were very enthusiastic and eager to help with anything. Beach towels were provided.

DislikedLack of natural light in the rooms. The breakfast was overall good, but I have seen better in cheaper hotels. This is not a buffet breakfast, rather an a la carte menu with limited options.

LikedHotel Casona Del Porvenir is a must stay if you are looking for a comfortable, convenient, and truly boutique experience in Cartagena. The staff were exceptional helping us with bags, making sure all needs were met, and they even provided a welcome drink upon arrival. The rooms are very thoughtful and clean. And the breakfast is delicious too. Also, AC is even on in the lobby which isn’t the case everywhere. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay memorable!

LikedGreat Location in the old town/ city. Comfortable beds. Great option to try/use the restaurant, pool and spa area of their other hotel (half a block away/ 2 min. Walking).

DislikedA misunderstanding over ordering one more egg for breakfast dampened the experience. Cant you believe this? Over one egg at this sort of hotel. No issue with the additional cost just the way it was handled. We tried two of the cocktails and we did not like either of them.

LikedAmazing hotel with great service. Free drink at check in and a great free breakfast every morning. We loved this place.
