Augustine Hotel, Prague

LikedLocation is superb, Concierge staff were super helpful, the room and the hotel itself has an old world charm with all the modern facilities. The view from the room was awesome as well and the room spacious, peaceful and elegant. Shower etc are all very well balanced.

LikedThe location is a stone's thrown from Charles Bridge, with all the 'touristy' attractions, plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff couldn't have been more polite, accommodating or helpful. The property is steeped in Augustine history and I particularly enjoyed the tour of the chapel and the 16th/17th century books. You can drink the monks' beer (monks clearly get all the good stuff) in the monks' bar, which is quite ironically decorated with a very large illuminated picture of Debbie Harry! Every room is unique and sympathetically decorated to the style and layout of the building. This place is a real gem, if you don't stop here you are missing out!

DislikedI have nothing negative at all to write. The spa was under reconstruction at the time but that was a minor issue.

LikedThe tour of the monastery was excellent, breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful.

DislikedOccasionally when asking ice to be delivered to the room it was forgotten, upon requesting it again it did eventually arrive.
