Hôtel Sainte Victoire

LikedOur stay at Hôtel Sainte Victoire was a true highlight of our trip to France. The setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of Sainte-Victoire Mountain. We loved hiking in the area, exploring the charming nearby village, and using the hotel as a base to visit both Marseille and Aix-en-Provence. The room was small, but that felt perfectly normal by European standards and was comfortable. The vegan meal at the restaurant was exceptional—easily one of the best meals of our trip and well worth the price.

DislikedOur room was a little warm because the hotel had not yet switched the climate control system from heat to air conditioning. Other than that, our only real complaint is that we didn't stay longer. We wish we had planned more time here, as the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect place to slow down and unwind after busier days exploring the region. Between the beautiful scenery, excellent hiking, and quiet charm of the area, this was easily one of the most enjoyable parts of our trip. If we return to the region, we would definitely make this hotel a longer stop.

LikedThe suite was very nicely decorated and comfortable, and included a balcony overlooking the mountains. The employees, from the restaurant to the front desk to the cleaners were all wonderful, generous, and extremely accommodating. Breakfast was included- my husband ordered the omelette and said it was perfect. We ate at the restaurant one night and loved. The hotel was located in the gorgeous town of Vauvenargues which is absolutely glorious and there are wonderful hiking trails located across the street.

LikedThe hotel was very nice and super clean. The staff was super friendly, and accommodating. The room we had was nice and had a great view. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

LikedOur stay was incredible. Perfect for couples. Very intimate and quiet. What an incredible experience. The restaurant was so nice. We would recommend walking down to Chez le Garde for dinner and drinks, it is super fun! The hotel is breathtaking.

LikedWas all absolutely brilliant but would have been good to have a choice of food in the evening rather than set menus.

LikedThe staff at the front desk of this hotel are outstanding! The location is beautiful overlooking Mont Sainte Victoire. We can see why it inspired Cezanne. Very comfortable upscale hotel
