LikedOur room was very luxurious the loo was separate and the shower wonderful and hot. Our bed was very comfy and so were the pillows. Room view was phenomenal. We loved the hotel and Hong Kong and will definately return.

LikedThe location is very good, particularly for anyone attending an event at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, as the hotel is directly connected to it. The room was comfortable and good, although some of the furniture felt slightly dated. Check-in and reception were the strongest part of the service and everything there was handled smoothly. Beyond reception, however, I found the service rather average and sometimes lacking the warmth and willingness to assist that I would normally expect from a hotel at this level. Overall, it was a decent stay rather than an exceptional one. My rating of 7 is actually quite generous based on my personal experience. This differs from the generally strong guest ratings the hotel receives, particularly for its location and comfort, but there are also other recent reviews mentioning inconsistent service and aspects of the rooms that feel dated.
DislikedThe biggest disappointment was the lack of flexibility and consistency in service. Some restaurants close around 9 PM, which I found surprisingly early for a five-star international hotel. I therefore ordered in-room dining. Despite having a deposit at reception worth approximately five times the value of my order, I was initially repeatedly asked to pay again. After several attempts to explain the situation, they eventually confirmed that I already had sufficient credit and apologised. The food itself then took around an hour to arrive. I also found the dining options relatively limited and considerably overpriced for what was offered. The facilities were acceptable, but nothing particularly memorable. To be fair, my experience appears less positive than the majority: Booking guests currently rate the hotel 9.0 overall, although value for money is notably lower at 8.3. Other recent guests have also reported issues involving value, extra charges, room details and occasions where service did not meet five-star expectations.
LikedIt was just great value for the money - terrific staff and environment.
LikedView awesome. Close to ferry. Special club on top floor worth the extra. Breakfast restaurant on ground floor great.

DislikedThe check in experience was poor. I have not factored this into the ratings above as that would not be a fair reflection of all the staff. I gave feedback during our stay and Susanna responded and came to apologise. She said the check-in staff was spoken to about this. There was 3 check-in staff and 2 checking in at that time. Disliked-There is construction going on right now which does make a little noise and makes getting to the waterfront a little bit more difficult
