Anantara New York Palace Budapest - A Leading Hotel of the World

LikedIncredible property with wonderful facilities.

LikedGood and good

DislikedSelf serve coffee is poor and cold plus queues

LikedGreat combination of old times and modern styles

LikedAmazing building, ceilings and decoration

LikedThe food was really good although the choice was limited, the room was comfortable and the decor was beautiful throughout the hotel, musicians were excellent too

DislikedThe new york café is extremely popular with tourists taking photographs of the interior, unfortunately this means that whilst you're eating breakfast or dining in the white salon you see a constant stream and inadvertently end up in the background. No one explained how breakfast worked and tables were left empty as they were reserved for later diners, it was difficult to get a 2nd hot drink and the majority of the breakfast staff tried not to make eye contact. We found the male concierge disinterested and didn't make any helpful suggestions, the location was further out from the main tourist attractions and whilst we were having breakfast on the last morning our room card key was cancelled despite it being well nearly 90 minutes before checkout time

LikedGreat overall service and the concierge service was excellent.

DislikedThe bed was a little too hard for my back. Everything else about the room was excellent

LikedLobbyen og Cafe New York. Morgenmaden var helt perfect.

DislikedUtrænet personale i restauranten.

LikedBreakfast at the Anantara is really wonderful. Sumptuous breakfast with many choices, attentive and extremely friendly staff and the ambience magical. We stayed in a large, spacious room which beautifully combined classic charm with modern convenience.

DislikedJust the facilities at the spa... I think there is rationing of energy given the current environment which I am very sympathetic too, but the quality of products - shampoo and conditioner did not match the label.
