LikedThe hotel was very central to many things to do and see around Arashiyama.

LikedNatürlich zuerst einmal die Lage - am Flussufer direkt am Bambuswald - trotz der vielen vielen Besucher in der Gegend ist es ruhig und entspannend im Hotel. Schöne Anlage mit wunderschönem Garten, wir hatten ein sehr schönes großes Zimmer mit Balkon - toll. Dazu das fantastische Essen im Restaurant Kyo und das tolle Cafe mit Terrasse mit Ausblick auf den Fluss.

LikedA localização do hotel é excelente para quem deseja uma estadia mais tranquila em Kyoto. Há muitos turistas na região, mas o hotel garante privacidade e tranquilidade para os hóspedes. O rio que passa em frente ao hotel fica lindo durante o nascer do sol. Além disso, as cerejeiras no entorno do hotel ficam lindas durante a primavera.

LikedIt was absolutely beautiful! We especially loved the gardens. Being surrounded by beautiful trees was very restful. We really enjoyed the private bath in our room and took full advantage. The staff was very attentive, friendly and kind.
LikedThe landscape and the view are breathless. Couldn't find a better place.
DislikedThe hotel should have public onsen and a better gym, given the size of the hotel.
LikedStunning location and five-star service. The staff were so welcoming and informative. Although our room was not ready on time, we were provided a room to wait in the meantime and free drinks. I can’t rate their restaurant highly enough, delicious food and impeccable service. Upon our check-out we were also provided complimentary transport to the train station.
DislikedThe beds are a little hard for my liking, but I’ve learnt this is quite normal in Japan. Could possibly be improved with a mattress topper for guests unaccustomed to the mattresses here.
