LikedBeautiful hotel in medieval Mdina. A welcomed change from the ubiquitous modern hotels. Decorated to high standards along with a very kind and accommodating staff. Would most certainly stay here again.
LikedWhat a wonderful experience to stay at the Xara Palace Hotel. We were treated with great courtesy when we arrived, and the entire hotel was exceptional. We especially loved the breakfast room and the terrace overlooking the square in front of the building. We'd love to stay in Mdina at the Xara Palace again some day.

LikedEverything is about the Xara Palace is exceptional. There is not a better location than being within the walls of the Mdina but within easy walking distance to Rabat. The sunrise views to the east made the delicious breakfast even more special. Our room was very spacious, and the bed was perfect. The service we received from the staff was second to none; there is no detail left to chance. Although everyone was fantastic, we would like to single out Aurora and Sara at the front desk for their helpful advice and hospitality.

LikedBeautiful location, gives you the opportunity to see Mdina by its beautiful streetlights in the evening once the crowds go, and in the morning. The rooms are beautiful, and the palace it is in is stunning. The staff could not be more helpful, and the picnic they prepared for a day we had out on a boat was beautiful. De Mondion is not to be missed!
LikedWe loved our stay here! Everyone was so kind, helpful and friendly, from the welcome drink upon our arrival to helping get our luggage to our car after checkout, everyone went above and beyond. The chateau itself is so peaceful and charming, we enjoyed a lovely tea in the courtyard. It was also very special to see the restaurant staff get to place their new 2025 Michelin star plaque over the previous 2024 plaque. We had a lovely stay in a very comfortable and elegant room. We hope to return one day! Thank you so much!

LikedPerfectly located for enjoying Mdina without the crowds. The hotel was full of character. We particularly enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace with its far reaching views.
