LikedStaff was super kind. Room was great, all amenities were awesome. Breakfast was special. Pool wasn't busy and various saunas were available. Lounge open all day for coffee, cold beverage and snacks. Great location, walking distance to city center and everywhere I needed.
LikedModern Amenities. Smart Solutions. Staff going extra mile to help.
DislikedBreakfast, very little choices and limited menu.
LikedEverything. What’s not to like about a place like this. The rooms, the facilities, the restaurants, the spa, the gym, the pool, the location. It was perfect.
DislikedOnly issue is that they have bikes but they make you rent them and they sold out before 10am when we were there even though there were a million bikes outside they wouldn’t let us use them. For the price of the hotel, the bikes should be free
LikedPerfect. Japanese hospitality is on another level. Perfectly clean. Pillow menu. Service is outstanding. Food in the snack bar was restaurant level. Employees of the hotel couldn't do more for you! Location perfect, walkable everywhere you'd want to be and see in Amsterdam. Visit to this hotel is a must!
LikedYamazato restaurant was excellent. Food in general was very good. Our junior suite was large and comfortable, except for the bathroom.
DislikedThe bathroom was too small and uncomfortable.
LikedBeautiful area with blooming sakura trees! Rooms were super clean (and my standards are pretty high). The breakfast was delicious! There were english and japanese breakfast options - which was clutch when traveling with my mom since she likes her eggs with rice and soy sauce 🤭.
DislikedWe had an issue with our luggage being brought up. It took almost an hour to get our luggage sent upstairs and it wasn’t clear why. I had to go downstairs to concierge, and then do a follow-up call from my room to see where our luggage was. If I knew it would’ve taken so long, I would have just grabbed it myself. Some of the experience with turn down service was inconsistent. Will I get a mat next to my bed today or not? Will my used teacups be cleaned or replenished? It varies day to day but overall the service was great!
LikedThe room is spacious with a nice view. They have a very nice gym and sap; and the food is great.
DislikedSome renovation might be needed; but nothing major.
LikedNice room with a lovely view, amazing breakfast, great swimmingpool , friendly staff
DislikedOne of the sauna, the one where you can be dressed up, was not open
