LikedVery friendly and helpful guy at check-in. Upgraded to a suite which was much appreciated. Parking was easy and inexpensive. Cool little extras - we plaid vinels, had a bath in the bedroom and great shower pressure.
DislikedMaybe a little more leg room in the tiolet but picking at straws here!
Likedif you want a fancy international hotel then this hotel is not for you. If you are looking for a charming, small lovely hotel withing 5 minutes of the harbor - this might be for you! Our room really great. Modern with several places to sit - and a small coffee table, a desk. Places to put your luggage so you are not tripping on it. The bathroom was modern and the shower terrific. Breakfast!!! Wonderful. You choose from a menu and it's cooked for you. The front desk was available 24 hrs. Luke was especially helpful and we enjoyed his company.....when picking out drinks at the bar. This hotel was a gem. Wonderful.
LikedThis hotel is so cool and funky. It’s in a great location, right next to the waterfront, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Our room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a great nights sleep. We will definitely stay here again when we are next in Auckland.

LikedI loved my stay at Ohtel! The location was great, right by the waterfront. The room was SO comfortable. I *loved* that they provided real milk for morning coffee upon check-in and had a milk foamer in the room, a dream for someone with jet lag, waking up way before the first coffee shop opens! The room was beautiful, the bed super cozy (5* hotel quality mattress and bedding) and the bathroom and bathroom products were similarly high quality. As others mentioned, the gym, pool and hot tub are shared with the apartment complex that it's situated in, but was never really crowded. The staff was amazing too! I arrived after a seemingly endless flight and had lost an item on the plane, they offered to use their phone to call the airport, and made me a coffee while I was calling, so kind and considerate! Food at the downstairs restaurant was also great. Overall, 10/10 experience!
