“It was relaxing, luxurious, exciting and adventurous almost all at once.”
LikedThe breakfast was awesome! The fresh fruit, yogurt and main course offerings were outstanding. The tapa could be a little less salty and sweeter.
DislikedThe other meal offerings could be improved upon. It is a five star resort. The food should also be 5 star. How about a mixologist with creative offerings both with and without alcohol?

LikedThe hotel is amazing, we stayed 4 nights at the sea cottage and it was idyllic, the resort, the activities, the staff, we felt so special and spoiled if true that Lagen is more expensive than many hotel is because is well kept, organized, you don’t have to worry about anything! just show up and enjoy!
DislikedI loved everything! but I think the gift shop has a lot of potential that could be better taken advantage of.

LikedEverything from the property facility to the excellent staff. The activities were adventurous. Our night supervisor, Mike Sumandal, did an impromptu serenading us at our table side with the rendition of “Somewhere Over The rainbow.” He even provided us with sandwiches for our very early morning motor boat trip back to the airport. In was a memorable evening. The tour guides were excellent especially Lover. All the staff were excellent, courteous , and respectful. They were all attentive and accommodating. I love the water cottage room. No wonder the Lagen Resorts is a paradise beyond my expectations. The company we have during the tours were very nice and friendly people.
DislikedOur room refrigerator was not working even though we informed the management. Nothing was done.

LikedThis is truly a paradise for those looking for an escape. It is quiet and calm so for those who are interested to remove themselves from the hustle of their daily lives. The amazing natural surrounds are breathtaking and the staff is what makes it. Attention to detail is next level. It has recently been renovated (end of 2025) and I personally loved the aesthetics in detail.
DislikedThis is not a “beach bungalow” property so recommend Pangulasian Island if that is more the style of paradise.

We came to celebrate a birthday, and the team completely spoiled us with thoughtful surprises and warm, personalised service that made the celebration unforgettable. The complimentary activities were truly the highlight — from island hopping to water adventures, everything was so well organised and added amazing value to our stay. The natural beauty surrounding the resort is breathtaking, and the peaceful luxury atmosphere made it the perfect escape. Every detail felt five-star. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already dreaming of coming back.
