Hotel Okura Manila at Newport World Resorts

LikedIt is a 5-start hotel and the stay feels like it. The room was huge, very comfortable. There's a yukata other than the bathrobe, so no need to bring a sleepwear. Nice to experience a wooden tub. High-tech Japanese toilet. Food was great. Swimming pool is warm. It is connected to other establishments within Newport, so many food options and can easily go to the mall. Staff is great, very helpful. Must try to eat in Yawaragi, Yamazato and try their afternoon tea. The food served at the pool bar was great too.

DislikedWe wanted to stay longer, but it is expensive. The room is spacious, but there is no work table. The window is huge, but the view isn't that great because there's a construction outside. The curtain covers the view and gives a cozy ambience or a total blackout. Good thing we cannot hear any noise inside the room.

LikedIt was a really good stay. Our room was so clean and very calming.

LikedThe hotel itself is stunning. You'd almost forget you're across from the Manila airport.

DislikedPerhaps an intro to using the technology in the room. The lights, thermostat and window blinds are all controlled electronically on touch pads throughout the room. I pulled a curtain off the electric component trying to open them.

LikedWe loved the wooden tub. The food and staff were great. We’ll be back for sure.

DislikedI wouldn’t recommend staying in the Japanese room as there is no light from the outside. The windows are facing the reception area so you do not have natural ligjt and it was not very pleasant so for a 1 night stay it’s okay but longer i do not recommend. The lther room we tried had a good view and nice light

LikedThe space the design the toilet size and tech. The lighting every thing automated. The beds and curtains amazing. I love the location of this hotel actually this hotel makes me come to philippines because I know I will be comfortable with everything about the beautiful philippines. So I got both worlds including my comfort
