LikedLovely resort tucked away in the hills about 15 minutes from Loule. We were afforded buggy transport with our luggage to our room; reception staff welcomed us and our dog! Our room overlooked the hills with a small garden and seating areas. It was spacious and very comfortable. It was serviced really well every day!
The amenities were very good; pool and bar, another pool near the cafe / restaurant, another cafe on site, lots of places to sit and enjoy the views. We ate in the cafe/restaurant twice, although the staff were lovely, and we could have our dog with us, the service was a tad slow at times and the quality of the food, or choice, perhaps did not reflect a 5 * resort! However we did have breakfast twice and that was excellent and actually good value!
We were not there for the golf so cannot comment. But it all looked immaculate!
DislikedWe stayed 6 nights and the distances between the various pools, cafes/ restaurants and our car - lots of steps and inclines became a bit tiring in the heat! There are numerous lifts to help; but the resort is built into hills so not unexpected! However the staff always offered a buggy if needed to help.
