LikedLocation was great and provided rides to the nearby public transportation stops as needed. Facility was very nice and staff very attentive. Liked relaxing in cocktail lounge at end of the day, sometimes live music too!

DislikedDidn't realized breakfast buffet was such a big thing and honestly it looked fabulous...more access to coffee bar without the breakfast buffet would be nice especially early in the morning when no other coffee shops in the area are open. Always felt like I was being annoying when I asked for coffee without going to table in the restaurant. Also booking.com advertised free ride to hotel from airport when I booked which was not the case at all. I brought this up to both the hotel and booking.com (and it was still showing on the website) and they said they were not able to honor it because of a third party issue????

LikedThe room was clean , comfortable and great view. Breakfast was really good . So happy to stay at Shilla.

LikedA little outside of the hustle and bustle, but just what I was looking for. They have a shuttle that drops you by the Dongguk University line station, which is utilized multiple times during my stay. I unfortunately, did not take advantage of any other facility in the hotel other than my room. Room was spacious, clean, great pressure in the shower. As others have mentioned, it’s beginning to show a bit of its age, but they have maintained the hotel quite well. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful.

DislikedI couldn’t get the Bidet spout to adjust since I’m quite petite, but that’s about it!

LikedThe breakfast was absolutelly amazing and pastry shop - I haven't tried such a lovely pastry even in France! Amazing territory, outstanding gym facilities, traditional sauna-spa! I loved the room, the lobby area, located close to the park with wonderful views.

DislikedThe breakfast was amazing - but staff harried us up with our food due to breakfast hours - that is not very pleasant and polite in our culture.

LikedThe customer service was exceptional. We were made to feel very well cared for.

LikedThe hotel and property is stunning. The staff are exceptional and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was out of this world. You must spend a few hours in the sauna!

DislikedThe hotel is a little far from the nearest train and we probably should have taken advantage of the shuttle bus service BUT after a long flight and jet lag there’s no where else I’d rather stay. It’s very comfortable. The lobby can get very very busy with weddings and celebrations but once you get through it and up to your room, you look out over the mountain and it is a sanctuary.
