LikedLoved the hotel. The conceirge was lovely. Loved the location and the welcoming size. We arrived to a cake and a letter welcoming us and when they heard it was their our anniversary they sent up chocolate covered strawberries.
LikedThere were so many things to like! The staff are some of the most exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable I have ever encountered. Specifically, they anticipated my questions at check-in, remembered me when I came and went, and seemed pleased to be of service. The facilities are truly exceptional and comfortable. Breakfast was a dream. Honestly, I could ramble but I would stay at the Gran Ingles again in a heartbeat.
LikedThis is the oldest luxury hotel in the city but everything was updated. Our room was well appointed and the staff were friendly and helpful.

LikedLocation was great to everything we wanted. Puerta del Sol, etc. It was very nice, the check in was very easy and everyone of the staff was very attentive.
DislikedNot being told there was construction going on directly across the small street from my room's windows. The room size could have been a bit larger.

DislikedOur room faced an interior courtyard on a low floor. Natural light was limited, and there were no views of the city/nieghborhood. It would have been better on an outward-facing upper floor.
LikedPerfect option for a family as this room is basically two adjacent rooms together, each with its comfy bed and bathroom. I also loved the little terrace.
LikedCentrally located. We could walk to all our chosen restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.
DislikedWe had to pay for bottled water in our room. The restaurant could not cater for a nut allergy.
