Likedthe location was perfect - very walkable area in beautiful historic Beacon Hill
LikedThe staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very courteous. It was apparent from this outsider that the team is srong and well staffed. The building is beautiful. A more modern facade and hobby leads into a historic and handsome building that houses the rooms. Large double hung windows, crisp linens and a well stocked bath. No need to ask fr towels ir any amenities. We had both a breakfast and Easter brunch on.property. The staff, once again, were efficient and courteous. The food was excellent.
DislikedI cannot think of anything. I thoroughly enjoyed myelf.
LikedI really loved the location. We spent time in Cambridge, and the T was right there. It's also on Charles Street, which ends at the Boston Commons. The staff was very friendly and the service was reminiscent of a very high-end hotel. The bath products, turn-down service, Frette robes, and comfy bed really elevated the experience. We also appreciated the grab and go coffee station in the bar area and the complimentary boxes of waters left in our room. We will definitely be staying here the next time we visit Boston.
DislikedMy one note is that the lobby had a cleaning product smell, which was off-putting to me. We chose not to dine in the restaurant because of that. I assume it was a one -off and it would not prevent me from coming back or recommending this hotel.
LikedAbsolutely beautiful hotel. Room was exceptionally clean. A great location, in walking distance to Boston Commons, North End, TD garden. Would stay here again
LikedAs always, the hotel facilities are wonderful. And staff make all the difference- every stay they are consistently warm, professional and accommodating.
DislikedJust small things that really dont warrant mentioning, but you asked….. We wish they offered real Oatmeal and chicken sausage (only have pork,) for breakfast.
LikedThis is a small boutique hotel with excellent staff and management who really know what they are doing. Mr. Alafandi , Ops manager, is just so hands on and always warm and professional. IMO the management sets the tone, and this management does an excellent job. We stay at The Whitney many times each year and it is always consistently excellent. The decor is warm , modern and just feels good. There is nothing that feels out of place or thread bare.
DislikedNothing. The gym is inadequate, but they have an agreement with the BHAC, and that works well.
LikedStaff were amazing thru out. Great location. Comforting night before doctors appointment
LikedVery close to MGH. Has a reasonable onsite restaurant. Very helpful for our situation on the big snow day
