LikedRoom and overall hotel design and ambiance was excellent. Room decor was well executed, bed was wonderful, location on Michigan Ave. was super. Hotel staff were great. Car valet service was wonderful. Would come here again

DislikedAll the public venues were extremely loud! We tried to have dinner at Cindy's, were seated and we could not hear each other so we left. The Drawing Room was the only reasonably acceptable noise level we found (and it was great). Our room was basically pitch black when we arrived, wall switches are chocolate brown so iPhone flashlight to even see where they were. The font on all the hotel info and phone was extremely small, very hard to read, (maybe I'm getting old). All in all though, we would still come back, just understanding that we would need to accommodations for where we would eat and party

“Everything exceeded my expectations.”

LikedI did not care about the view so this room was perfect. I really liked the Kind Bar that was offered. I also appreciated the soft linens, the cleaning service and new towels to replace the used one. Every staff person I encountered was helpful and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. My cleaning staff showed me how to turn on the lights and pointed me in the right direction when I was lost in the corridors. Excellent - I will recommend you. I was going to the stadium for a BTS concert and it was easy to get to.

DislikedEverything exceeded my expectations.

“Home away from Home”

LikedCAA is a super cool hotel. I love hanging in the lobby area with the cozy fireplaces, no matter the weather. It’s moody and vibey without being too much. We really enjoy Cindy’s rooftop bar and the other bars and game room in the hotel. Everything is fun and cool. The staff is so friendly and hospitable. Everyone works really hard to make sure your stay is fabulous!

DislikedThe fact I had to leave!

“Amazing way to see the great city!”

LikedIncredible roof top views. Our room was nice, and we didn't check out the hotel proper until the last day. Go to the roof, then visit each floor looking at the attractions mentioned on the elevator directory for many of the floors. Ever seen a 150 year old gym?

“Our stay was a bit of luxury to start our journey.”

LikedThe hotel is as beautiful inside as it is outside. The wood paneling, carved arches and alcove overhangs, and the lead glass windows are spectacular. There are fireplaces with inglenooks, Persian rugs on the floor, and window seats along the windows in the lobby. Our kingsize bed was comfortable and we enjoyed having a couch. two settees, and a chaise lounge. The huge bathroom was appreciated as were the slippers provided. Watching the snow storm from the cosy inside was a real treat.

DislikedWould have liked tissue paper in the bathroom, a long shoe horn, ceramic cups instead of paper cups for tea and coffee, a light in the coffee/tea bar, and a reading lamp next to one of the settees or the couch.
