“TEN STARS: Unforgettable!”

LikedThe property is a curated exotic garden with postcard picture pockets with sweeping views, places to relax like hammocks, and sensory soothers like water features, birds. The pool was serene with light music, attentive staff, and never felt crowded. Staying at Hotel Wailea felt like stepping into a movie set of the white lotus or something— unique, special, immersive, and beyond relaxing. The employees love their jobs and treated myself and others like gold— going above and beyond every time for any little need. Do not skip eating dinner at the Birdcage or breakfast at the restaurant. The lemon ricotta pancakes are probably the best breakfast food I’ve ever had in my life.

DislikedI have no complaints

“Stunning But Noisy Escape Without Beach”

LikedStunning grounds. Immaculate. Modern. So well done. Impeccable.

DislikedNo beach. Noise from street in the best rooms in the house are horrifically bad that I had to move rooms to a lower class room just to get away from the street noise

“Peaceful but pricey stay in Wailea”

LikedBeautiful gardens, views from the restaurants, peaceful surroundings, cool pool area and amazing bar tender there.

DislikedNot much, a bit pricey but expected. Room decor seemed a bit dated but otherwise fine. Restaurant was overpriced for the quality of food, but you pay for the location.

“Loved the room and the views, the pool is great for a wonderful relaxing soak and lounge I would like to see a more…”

LikedNicely kept and look exactly like the it did when we were there 10 years ago

DislikedThe restaurants. It would be hard to not leave and go other place to eat based on the menus. The breakfast was okay and the pool menu was okay but the dinner menu at the restaurant was prefix but not well thought out and the Bird cage, although the staff were great and the views were awesome the menu again was challenging and limited.

“Paradise in Paradise”

LikedWe loved absolutely everything. The resort is exceptional in every way. The suites spoil you with their amenities. The resort itself is stunning, spotless with everything you could need, and a phenomenal restaurant. The pool area offers complimentary cabanas, sunscreen, and wonderful poolside bar and restaurant service.

“Perfect relaxing getaway!”

LikedEverything about Hotel Wailea is amazing. The food is incredible - The Birdcage, The Restaurant, and even the poolside food. We also did the luxe picnic and that food was fantastic as well. The hotel really goes out of their way to provide a quiet, romantic, and unique experience. The suites are large, well furnished, and comfortable. There is even a small kitchen with nespresso, a toaster, microwave, plates and utensils, refrigerator, freezer, cups. No, it’s not on the beach… however, if you want to go, let them know which beach and they’ll provide you chairs and an umbrella and they’ll drop you off and come pick you up. It’s absolutely worth the price for the serenity: nothing is crowded, no fighting for pool chairs or dinner reservations.

DislikedNothing! Do wish it was on the beach, but the views are amazing and the complementary drives make up for it.
