Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott, Maui

DislikedThe beach service really needs an update. We asked where to seat and the guy responded that the beach was public and kind made fun of my ask. There were only 6 chairs when the hotel is big and full of people to use it. I was expecting a more professional service. If you want to comfortable at the beach, this is not the hotel for you. I saw better beach service in other hotels close by

LikedWailea Beach Resort is gorgeous. My family fell in love with it and we would absolutely return. The resort has an exceptionally well organized, friendly, polite, and accommodating concierge desk that helps with the scheduling and logistics for many of Maui's top attractions like a Molokini caldera snorkel cruise, the famous Haleakala sunrise, road to Hana or other attractions, but the location is also fabulous to just sit, relax, and enjoy the ocean and pool. My children loved the waterslides and would not leave. My kids absolutely cherished the experience and my wife loved it as well. I liked how the structure of the resort catered to all kinds; families, families with young children, couples, or adult groups. The spa was pricey, but worth it!

DislikedFood was a little pricey, but we had brought our own. The layout was hard to navigate and I got lost twice trying to find my room, but once you figure it out it's fine.

LikedThe room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Having multiple pool options was nice. All the staff were very friendly. The location is great with an easy walk to the Wailea Shops.

DislikedMy only complaint is the price. Do you really need to charge $25 for a Mai tai in a plastic cup?

LikedEverything was perfect I have no complaints about the property or the staff! The bartenders at Humble Kitchen are the best on the island and the drinks were out of this world! The room was comfy and clean, pools were amazing and not packed with kids accept in the kids area. The slide is crazy fast and I loved it! Breakfast was phenomenal and the views are out of this world. The hubby and I come every anniversary and this is the only place we stay!

DislikedOnly complaint is the wings at humble market changed since the last time we were here they didn’t have any sauce like normal they were kinda dry and chewy. When we came in 2024 they were crispy and perfectly sauced. Not sure what happened

DislikedYou have a beautiful lobby and dont market it The bar in the lobby area should be expanded instead of hidden. The girl who runs it is not nice...she delighted in telling us she was closed She should get a new attitude or you should get someone nicer.
