LikedBeautiful hotel with great beach access. Loved the morning beach yoga. Excellent location with walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

DislikedWe reserved an ocean view room, but they originally put us in a room with a "shared balcony" It would have been odd to share a balcony/patio with strangers, but upon telling the front desk, they put us in a different room immediately. Also, there was a large group who rented a cabana by the pool on our first day. They were intoxicated and very loudly using offensive language. Not the type of thing someone wants to see/hear at this level and price of resort, and very unfortunate for the families with small kids. I didn't want to be "that person" and go find/tell someone, but would have been nice if there was some sort of management visibility to the pool area.

“The staff really made a difference as they made you feel like family”

LikedPool facilities were fantastic. All the staff was very helpful and welcoming. The facility was very clean. The pool was a great spot for the kids. There was lots to do for the smaller kids. Lots of staff supervision around the pool to keep everyone safe.

DislikedThere was no cable television on the TV in the in the unit we had. We had to load applications to be able to watch any television. It would not have made much difference other than we had quite a few days of rain. The controls for the TV were challenging and a booklet or some kind of manual how to use the system

“Wonderful resort for relaxation.”

LikedVery spacious room with a nice balcony. Lots of pools with connecting water slides. Good bar and food service by the pools. Very nice lobby and shops. The sand beach was adequate sized with many lounge chairs for rental. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Several good restaurants within the resort.

DislikedThe parking fee of $75/day was exorbitant. The ice machine by our room didn't work, but was quickly fixed when reported.

“Lovely stay, would definitely return”

LikedWe were upgraded to a Napua room and it just about made our trip. It was such a lovely room with the ocean view and size. It also included other perks, including a lounge with breakfast, snacks, and a personal concierge. We had already booked all of our tours so we mostly just enjoyed the lounge benefits. The breakfast and snacks were nothing to write home about per se... and they weren't awfully vegetarian friendly... but they were a bonus we didn't expect and they saved us the hassle of finding ourselves breakfast each morning. The staff was also so helpful - I had sat in gum at some point so I asked for warm vinegar and a toothbrush to try to get it out. They brought it right up, which was wonderful and honestly a bit surprising. They had a text service for that kind of thing, which made it so easy to request help. It was right along the beach path and by a cute little beach.

DislikedMandatory valet parking at $65/day is steep. The pool chair policy (that the staff would remove things from chairs if they aren't used for over an hour so people didn't just hold chairs all day) was not actually enforced, which was annoying AF. We were by the pool hoping for seats in the shade and there was one set that had stuff on it for over 2 hours with no people coming/going. We told the staff and they just kept pushing us off. We get why they don't actually enforce it - they don't want confrontation with the original people - but it really sucked for us. The people eventually showed up and my husband kind of called them out. They moved their things to another set of two chairs and gave us the originals because they weren't actually staying then either... and then proceeded to leave the chairs "reserved" and empty for another two hours. It was annoying to experience.

“It was wonderful!”

LikedThe location was incredible! The beach, the sunsets, the palm trees, the views, the oceanfront path. The slides and pool was unreal. It was perfect for my family and my mom's 70th birthday celebration with all the little cousins.

DislikedThe lines! There were lines at Lolou the casual coffee shop every morning there were lines to get wrist bands. Even though we were there 3 nights, you had to be there 4 nights in order to have a multi day wrist band so every morning we all needed to wait in line to get a wrist band and towels. After waiting in line for breakfast then waiting in line for wrist bands it made each day feel like the whole vacation was going to be spent waiting in line.
