The Meritage Resort and Spa

LikedThe staff were exceptional and very professional. From the valet to the registration staff, everyone was very accommodating making my wife & I feel very welcomed.

LikedRoom was great, staff was very helpful and nice. The resort is Beautiful.

DislikedThe drinks at the bar with the bowling Alley were very overpriced. I paid $69.00 for a glass of wine and a mixed drink.

LikedVery clean and friendly staff. Coffee shop opens early.

DislikedDining options were strange after the concert. No food for the crowds and no space for the crowds to sit in the one area that was open. Lotion and soap bottles look exactly the same in the bathroom, kept accidentally pumping lotion on hands instead of soap. Coffee machine didnt work.

LikedGreat pool and hot tub area. Fitness room was good. The views are great, we had one of the adult pool area.

DislikedThe concert we went to see, seemed to be under staffed, who were not trained well enough to locate assigned seating that the customers paid for. The map was a rough draft to a final version that never got completed.

Likedall inclusive- we did have to drive to eat, swim or for the spa - they had a shuttle to take us to the family pool. We rented the Cabana for the family-

LikedI liked the location of the hotel and the kind, friendly, professional staff.4

DislikedI didn't like the food or the fact there was no microwave in the hotel room.

LikedVery nice resort, clean and spacious rooms with lots of light, offers a complimentary bottle of wine, many things to do around the property - has a pool, a good gym, bowling, a few restaurants with decent cooking

DislikedThe restaurant service was a bit unstable - first time our server, Da, was truly amazing, very polite and caring. Next morning we had a different server who was making a long face when he didn’t understand what we said, confused orders among 3 people (though we just had 3 Benedict’s, not a gazillion of dishes) and was overall pretty impolite The pool could have been bigger and cleaner

LikedThis is our second stay at this property. We’ve also stayed across the street at their sister property where most concerts are set up and you can watch from your room balcony. An ice skating rink was set up for Thanksgiving across the street at their sister property. They even had igloo’s you could rent. We took a morning walk through the vineyard and went by the spa on the property we were staying at. Excellent Thanksgiving buffet! The music was nice and most of the good was good.
