LikedThe moment you arrive you feel the upscale nature of the property. Everything is clean, well kept, every staff member goes out of their way to treat you like the owner of the property.

DislikedThe staff training is impressive. Everyone is extra courteous and professional, the property does not feel overcrowded, it’s easy to get around, restaurants are nice (with live music- piano), the pool area is not big, but big enough. We only used it for an evening dip, but it was very nice. The quality of our room was exceptional. Clean, spacious, nice size balcony, double sink bathroom with separate deep soaking tub and walk in shower. Clothes washer and dryer (with detergent) included. Whenever you need something just say the word and they promptly deliver. It’s a short walk to the beach, we didn’t mind it. It would be nice if they operated their own beach chair/umbrella service, if that’s possible, but we had our own umbrella. They always give you as many towels as you want. Easy towel return.

LikedGreat location and pretty clean! Perfect housekeeping, they can remember all the details and surprised us! Really smooth check in and out service. All the staff are great and friendly, super knowledgeable and thoughtful!!!! They upgraded our room to ocean view suite which has the best view to see the ocean!!

DislikedOnly the shower room’s door is a little bit annoying. It needs more protection or rubber to reduce the noise. Every time we feel like the door gonna be cracked.

LikedNice quiet location 2 blocks off the very crowded beach. Room was spotless and spacious and comfortable with beautiful furnishings and a big patio overlooking beach. The pools were quiet and well maintained with attentive staff. It was our anniversary and the staff surprised us with a devious pineapple tray and a lovely swan made of folded towels. They also upgraded our rom which we really appreciated . Every staff was super friendly and helpful.

LikedEverything was modern and extremely clean. The furniture was comfy, and the view, amazing. The staff were extremely kind and professional. I was given tea at check in, and it was great. The main reason I decided this specific hotel was for the deep soaking bathtub. I've stayed at a few places with tubs, and they are nothing compared to the one we had in our room. It was modern, spotless clean, and the flow rate on the faucet was perfect. Allowing you fill it very quickly. I had the best steak I've ever had from Quiora, one of the restaurants on the property. I was able to make a reservation about an hour before on my phone, which was extremely convenient. As was everything at the hotel. Extremely convenient. I'd definitely love to stay here again.

DislikedThe only critique I have is the menu options for rooms service are a little limited. It should have something for everyone, but I'll be honest and say I was hoping it would be a little more comprehensive. Another tiny quirk is the elevator system, which although extremely secure, the screens to call the elevator tend to freeze when one is called, and therefore you have to wait a minute before you can select where you want to go. This might be a feature and not a bug though. One last thing was the limited options as far as TV goes. It was really only cable, Netflix or YouTube. The function that allows you to use the TV to Bluetooth music was also disabled, but I understand why that is. Really, none of it really took away from the experience.

LikedHoy jacuzzi - super clea - walking distance to main restaurants

LikedThe property is not on the beach (thank heavens) but on the edge of the hot area of Waikiki - you can easily walk to any restaurant in Waikiki, walk to the beach (ten minutes). Our room was fabulous - large, beautiful view from the balcony, terrific pool open 24/7 and jacuzzi. Valet parking is $55 a day, but the valets are super helpful and kind - and give you lots of tips of where to go. As do the concierges - Lorna, Jordan and Luis in particular. Yes, it’s a Ritz-Carlton, but for us it was a home away from home. Super warm service, and a very high standard of facilities. We cannot wait to return.
