Chestnut Hill Hotel reviews
“Romantic weekend at cute historic hotel”
LikedCute Historic Hotel in Chestnut Hill. The walls had pictures that showed the past of the area and hotel. Close to the Morris Arboretum where we attended an event our first night. Adam was amazing and informative. We were celebrating our anniversary and the room was very romantic. The bed was very comfortable with awesome plush pillows. The provided robe was also very plush. Breakfast was very good, but if you eat meat you will be disappointed.
“A perfect stay.”
LikedLocation was excellent. Michelle and Sam at the front desk were very helpful!
“Will recommend to friends and family. Loved the ambiance!”
LikedVery clean. A beautiful hotel! The staff, Crystal and Adam (front desk) were extremely nice and helpful. As well as Jill and the cleaning crew kept the hotel rooms looking impeccable. The Market with multiple food options were a huge plus! I highly recommend! Will definitely book again whenever I come to visit Philadelphia. Loved every minute!
“A gem worth seeking out”
LikedThe Chestnut Hill Hotel is the kind of place that reminds you why travel is worth it. Steeped in history and appointed with real care and elegance, every corner of this hotel feels considered — sumptuous without being stuffy. The location is an absolute delight: a charming, walkable neighborhood where you can stroll to shops and restaurants without ever reaching for your keys. Speaking of keys — free parking is a quietly wonderful bonus that takes the stress right out of arrival. And yes, there’s a nightlight in the bathroom, which sounds small until it’s 2 a.m. and you are deeply grateful for whoever thought of that. Thoughtful touches like that are exactly what elevate a stay from fine to memorable. Highly recommend!
DislikedThe continental breakfast was mediocre at best.
“Delightful and comfortable”
LikedI loved how convenient the location was and how it was modernized but still had the old building feel.
LikedThe staff was great, and the room was also good. It was nice that we were upgraded to a suite for our anniversary
DislikedBreakfast could have been a little better and with larger plates.
LikedThe hotel is lovely and the staff is EXCELLENT! They are professional, friendly, kind and supportive. We stayed several times while visiting my brother in and of ICU until he passed this week. This was a time of tremendous stress, anxiety and fear and heartache. Every stay I was greeted with loving smiles and sincwre words of encouragement. I looked forward to arriving back to the hotel after long days at the hospital where I felt cared for and safe. A special thanks to everyone especially Ms. Michele & Adam.
DislikedThere is absolutely nothing to dislike about the Chestnut Hill Hotel. The only request would be a more substantial hotel breakfast even if there is a cost.
