Little Gem Hotel Tulum La Veleta

LikedThe hotel very nice and peaceful throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and provided recommendations for local spots for food. We enjoyed having the little cookies provided daily after housekeeping. :)

DislikedOver all it was a good stay but the following recommendations may help to improve further guests stay. - The floor type in the bathroom is slippery when wet therefore a shower mat will help to prevent accident. - A TV in the room. All though not a deal breaker since we spend majority of our time outside the room, however it would be nice to have a TV to watch when we were in.

LikedLittle gem was the perfect place for our trip to Tulum. Central location, clean property tucked away, provided bikes free of charge, and right across the street from a great breakfast cafe. The highlight was the concierge service, both people who worked at the front desk gave us the best recommendations on places to go and things to do, and made the trip truly magical.

LikedCharming and rustic. Felt private and safe, close to restaurants and shops.

DislikedI like more blankets, but it was warm enough. Just like having option of more blankets.

LikedIt was very quiet and across the street from a great little cafe

LikedThe atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and assisted us with taxis and local recommendations. Housekeeping did a great job every day. Beautiful boutique hotel.

DislikedThe only thing was the rough/bumpy roads surrounding the hotel, but even that wasn’t that bad and not the hotel’s fault.

LikedLook and feel, the team working there that was so helpful

LikedWe had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location was great, being close to good restaurants and beautiful beaches. Our room was clean, and the pool and free bikes were a nice touch. The reception staff were exceptional, caring, friendly, and genuinely kind. They provided plenty of helpful tips and suggestions, patiently answering all our questions. Their outstanding hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable, going above and beyond to exceed our expectations. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team. You made our experience truly special! 🫶

LikedWe had such a great time at this boutique hotel. The staff were amazing and the room was wonderful. They did a little celebration setup in our room because it was my birthday which I thought was fantastic. Only downside was that the pools (there was one in our room as well) were cold probably due to the number of tropical storms that came through just prior to our arrival but it was a minor issue.
