LikedThe grounds were beautiful, the room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. And the staff was exceptional!
DislikedThere was plenty of hanging space but There could be more drawers or dresser for keeping clothes.
Likedthe staff was amazing and so nice. Breakfast was great.
DislikedWe should have asked about the cost of laundry before giving our clothes. We were charged about 6 times what we paid elsewhere. They gave us a discount after I found out, but I was not happy.
Likedthe friendliest, most helpful staff. rooms (and the hotel grounds in general) are much prettier in-person. turn down service with the bedtime stories was such a cute touch! also our butler Toto had the best recommendations and secured restaurant reservations for us even if we requested them at the very last minute. loved every moment of our stay :)
Dislikedspa treatments were super expensive and not worth the money unfortunately :(
LikedThe property is an oasis of calm and serenity, everything is “just so”, tasteful and easy. The bedding - OH - you sleep on heaven (I sleep on Hastens and Pratesi at home, I know a good bed).
DislikedThe location. The property is situated in a location which rather far from both the Old Town (backpackers heaven) and the fashionable Western part of Chiang Mai.
LikedA beautiful period property in a fantastic central location. Very much an oasis in the city. Staff weee incredibly helpful and attentive.
DislikedThe pool is lovely but due to central location has no view and is often in the shade.
LikedWe stayed in some nice properties during our trip to Thailand including The Siam in Bangkok and can say this was our favorite hotel. Authentic, great food, chilled, close enough to the center, amazing staff and luxurious amenities. Can’t way to go back!

LikedGetting into the hotel already feels like a time travel. The peace, the quietness, the beauty speak for itself. Hats off to the staff (especially the gardeners) and the manager of course. We had a lovely time!
