“Beautiful and tranquil high end hotel and spa in a quiet location.”

LikedBeautiful and tranquil hotel, with lovely amenities. Loved the PJs! The breakfast was included and was good. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. Very close to a Michelin recommended restaurant (5 minute walk) that served delicious Thai food. We were very full and it cost less than 500b.

DislikedWhile it was lovely to be just outside the main city, transportation was a bit difficult. We were outside the free pick up zone for tour excursions. We were not able to book a Grab car, so decided to book two Grab motorcycles - which turned out to be an excellent way to get around the city. We recommend this, if you dare!

LikedRooms are new, clean and comfortable and the facilities are well maintained, including the pool and the gym. Staff are quite helpful to the extent they can and when asked - we had a cable issue but was fixed eventually with help with staff. Breakfast are great with decent amount of options and not too overwelming. I much enjoyed chilling alongside the pool or balcony outside the room. Location is pretty good as well. Some airplane noise but not too bad personally. Close to nature and just a grab away from most downtown stuff.

DislikedRestaurant could be improved - we stayed for three days and some wellness bowls are never available. I ordered the only one available and it was not good. Otherwise food (besides breakfast which is great) are generally okay but not as good if you’re going to dine there more than once. Finally, I would drop the charge for local water during meals - I argued against it and got it taken off pretty easily. This is not a high-end restaurant and I didn’t order a high end water (it’s literally locally recycled glass water where you get freely in your room). Finally, staff are generally very helpful when asked but could benefit from more training and be a bit more proactive. Oh the free wellness classes are good to have but def not worth paying for (2 free ones per guest).

“Perfect for a short stay in Chiang Mai”

LikedBeautiful well kept gardens and setting. The hotel has the feel of a small boutique property. Our room was spacious and comfortable for our family of four.

“Relaxing , uplifting and basically very hard to leave this place ! Staff were kind and helpful !”

LikedI loved the peaceful natural environment , the incredible pool and delicious meals at the cafe . Had a 90 minute Lana massage also which was fantastic and floated out afterwards. Loved the wellness activities available also !

DislikedI think breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of foods available - the salt shakers were a bit blocked up due the high humidity and not sure if the butter was real ! Yoghurt was a bit sweet to - probably would prefer a great sour Greek yoghurt !

LikedGreat ala carte buffet breakfast! staff were so friendly, love the little touches like the bedtime stories and turn down snacks. Wonderful massage at the spa

DislikedWish pool hours could be longer. A late night dip to escape the heat would have been perfect

LikedThis resort is Thailand at its best. It’s small enough to feel boutique but still has everything you need. The pool was stunning, always lounges available. The spa was gorgeous and the treatments very good. The rooms are really well appointed and are nicer in person than in the photos. The pyjamas are a really nice touch. The staff are all very kind and attentive. The ladies from the spa were often getting bananas from their garden and giving them to my toddler - he loved it. The staff in the restaurant remembered our coffee order every morning which tells you the type of place it is and the type of people they employ - so hospitable. I wish I could remember everyone’s names…but Mai, Tony, Namo, Nat and Chef Kim - all amazing.

DislikedWe did the private cooking class which was really good - but they didn’t give us copies on the recipes. Not a big deal but would have been nice as they food was really good!

“High end hotel that worths every penny.”

LikedExceptional service, clean and well designed room, good ventilation in the room, 24 hours gym facilities, free yoga class, library.

DislikedThe half board dining experience was a bit disappointing. Moo yang for dinner was slightly overcooked and there was a bit of pork smell. Rice soup for breakfast tastes like MSG. Everything else is good tho.
